Helping hands are delighted to give you the opportunity to recycle & exchange old mobile phones to offer support for your family.
The Helping Hands iPads for Autism scheme has been successfully recycling old mobile phones to help families exchange for iPads to help their children diagnosed with ASD.
iPads are a fantastic tool and our families have shared many stories of the benefits the iPad has brought to them.
Since the launch of the scheme we have had requests to help more families recycle for much needed specialist equipment and resources for their child. With the Helping Hands recycle & exchange scheme we are now able to offer that support.
You can do this by trading old mobile phones for iPads, iPod Touches, accessories and vouchers.
You now have a wide range of educational products to choose from through Learning Space Belfast, and for sensory equipment and disability aids through Fred Storey Comber.
Click on the the links below and browse the fantastic range both of these companies have to offer....What are you waiting for ??
If you would like to collect phones for anyone with a disability joining the scheme has never been easier. All you have to do is fill in the application form on Helping Hands website and start collecting .
Phones do not need to be working but do need to be complete with a back and a battery. They must not be older than ten years old so no big bricks with antennas.
When you've reach your target, just get in touch by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 028 9048 1820 and we will recycle and exchange for you.
